English Translation of Al-Quran
[28].Surah Al-Qasas [The Narration]
Ayat 12. And We had already forbidden (other) foster suckling mothers for him, until she (his sister came up and) said: "Shall I direct you to a household who will rear him for you, and sincerely they will look after him in a good manner?"
Ayat 13. So did We restore him to his mother, that she might be delighted, and that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the Promise of Allah is true. But most of them know not.
Tafseer of Surah Al-Qasas (The Narration) Ayat 12 & 13. And we ordained that he refused suck at first, until (His sister came up and) said: "Shall I point out to you the people of a house that will nourish and bring him up for you(3338) and be sincerely attached to him?"… 3338 For you: i.e., on your behalf. Thus Moses got the benefit of his mother’s milk (symbolical of all the traditions and spiritual heritage of his ancestry and his people) as well as the prestige and the opportunities of being brought up in the royal family, with the best of teachers to teach him Egyptian wisdom. In addition, there was the comfort to his mother. Thus did We restore him to his mother, that her eye might be comforted, that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true: but most of them do not understand. Allah’s promise is always true, but short-sighted people, if they are a little thwarted in their plan, do not understand that Allah’s wisdom, power, and goodness are far more comprehensive than any little plans which they may form.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When a Muslim, or a believer, washes his face (in the course of Wudu’), every sin which he committed with his eyes, will be washed away from his face with water, or with the last drop of water; when he washes his hands, every sin which is committed by his hands will be effaced from his hands with the water, or with the last drop of water; and when he washes his feet, every sin his feet committed will be washed away with the water, or with the last drop of water; until he finally emerges cleansed of all his sins.”
[Muslim Book # 02, Chapter # 07, Hadith # 0475].
Lesson : This Hadith has the same meaning mentioned in another Hadith. That is to say, such minor sins are washed off by Wudu’. In other words, Wudu’ is a means of purification of the body as well as the soul.

[28].Surah Al-Qasas [The Narration]
Ayat 7. And We inspired the mother of Musa PBUH (Moses), (saying): "Suckle him [Musa PBUH (Moses)], but when you fear for him, then cast him into the river and fear not, nor grieve. Verily! We shall bring him back to you, and shall make him one of (Our) Messengers."
Tafseer of Surah Al-Qasas (The Narration) Ayat 7. So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers." The Egyptian midwives had orders to kill Israelite babies. Moses was saved from them, and his mother nursed the infant at her breast herself. But when the danger of discovery was imminent, she put him into a chest or basket, and floated him on the river Nile . It flowed by the King’s palace, and the chest with the baby was picked up, as related further on. The mother had no cause to fear or grieve afterwards, as the child grew up under her tender care and became afterwards one of the Prophets of Allah.

Hazrat Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: when the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH), feared mischief from a people, he would supplicate: "Allahumma inna naj`aluka fi nuhurihim, wa na`udhu bika min shururihim (O Allah! We ask You to face them, and seek Your Protection against their evil.”
[Abu Dawud Hadith # 1537 # and An-Nasa'i Hadith # 8631].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Qasas Ayat 07 “when you fear for him, then cast him into the river and fear not, nor grieve. Verily! We shall bring him back to you, and shall make him one of (Our) Messengers." Allah’s Help, we are told, is a protection against all perils. Through this prayer we seek His Help with the conviction that the deceptions and designs of the infidels will turn back upon them.

[28].Surah Al-Qasas [The Narration]
Ayat 9. And the wife of Firaun (Pharaoh) said: "A comfort of the eye for me and for you. Kill him not, perhaps he may be of benefit to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceive not (the result of that).
Tafseer of Surah Al-Qasas (The Narration) Ayat 9. The wife of Pharaoh said: "(Here is) joy of the eye, for me and for thee: slay him not. It may be that he will be use to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not (what they were doing)! He was a darling to look at, and Pharaoh had apparently no son, but only a daughter, who afterwards irony. This is on the supposition that the Pharaoh was Totems In all life Providence so orders things that Evil is defeated by its own weapons. Not only is it defeated, but it actually, though unwittingly, advances the cause of Good! In non-religious language this is called the work of the Ironic Fates. If Thomas Hardy had not made Napoleon the Puppet of Fate in his "Dynasts", he could well have taken Pharaoh as an illustration of the Irony of Fate, or, as we should prefer to call it, the working of the Universal Plan of Allah.

Hazrat Shahr bin Haushab reported: I asked Hazrat Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her), "O Mother of the Believers! Which supplication did the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) make frequently when he was in your house?” She said: "Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) supplicated frequently: ‘Ya muqallibal-qulubi, thabbit qalbi ‘ala dinika (O Controller of the hearts make my heart steadfast in Your religion).” [At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 3522].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Qasas Ayat 09 “And they perceive not (the result of that)” Steadfastness in religion is the conduct of great men, which cannot be acquired without the special Grace of Allah. There occur many turns in a person’s life when he becomes slack or negligent in religious matters or when he deviates from the course prescribed by religion. This prayer has outstanding importance for such people who are faced with such a situation. They should recite this prayer very frequently. In fact they should make its recitation a permanent feature.

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 91. I (Muhammad SAWW (PBUH) have been commanded only to worship the Lord of this city (Makkah), Him Who has sanctified it and His is everything. And I am commanded to be from among the Muslims (those who submit to Allah in Islam).
Ayat 92. And to recite the Quran, so whosoever receives guidance, receives it for the good of his own self, and whosoever goes astray, say (to him): "I am only one of the warners."
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 91 & 92. For me, I the Messenger of Allah Muhammad PBUH have been commanded to serve the Lord of this city Makkah, Him Who has sanctified it and to Whom (belong) all things: and I am commanded to be of those who bow in Islam to Allah’s Will,-The Lord of this City. This was spoken in Makkah, say about the 5th year before the Hijrah, when the Holy Prophet PBUH and his adherents were being persecuted as enemies to the cult of Makkah. So far from being against the true spirit of the Holy City of Makkah, it was actually in furtherance of that spirit, which had been overlaid by the idolatries and abominations of the Pagan Quraish. They are told that the new Teaching is from the Lord of Makkah itself, the One True God, Who had sanctified it in the time of Abraham PBUH. Lest they should think that it was a local or tribal or narrow cult, it is added that He is not only Lord of this city, but Lord of the Worlds, "to Whom belong all things". It is a universal message: but how sad it would be if the Makkans, among whom it came first, were to reject it? And to rehearse the Qur´an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner". The duty of the Prophet and his adherents was, first, to accept Islam and become themselves shining examples of Allah’s grace and mercy, as they in fact were, and secondly to preach that message and spread that Light to all around. It was not for them to force it on unwilling people: for any who rejected it would find their own spiritual loss in such rejection. But they must clearly warn them of the consequences.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Musa Al-Ashari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Read the Qur’an regularly. By the One in Whose Hand Muhammad’s [SAWW](PBUH) soul is, it escapes from memory faster than a camel does from its tying ropes.”
[Al-Bukhari Book # 6 Chapter # 61 Hadith # 552].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 92. “recite the Quran, so whosoever receives guidance, receives it for the good of his own self” To safeguard the Qur’an means to recite it regularly, because if one fails to do so, he tends to forget it quickly. In the absence of regular recitation, one is bound to forget it more quickly than a camel breaks loose bound with. The breaking loose by the camel to liberate itself is a simile for the quick process of forgetting.

Daily Quran And Hadith,

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 88. And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds (on the Day of Resurrection). The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things, verily! He is Well-Acquainted with what you do.
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 88. Thou sees the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away: (such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do. This is so in the present phase of phenomenal things, both literally and figuratively. There seems nothing more firm or fixed or permanent than the "eternal hills": yet when the new order of things comes and the new World is brought into being, they will be as flimsy and insubstantial as clouds. So, in the revelation of things in the spiritual World, persons or things or ideas that seem so great and so firmly established now will pass away like mere fancies and give way to the Reality of Allah. Atqana. to arrange or dispose of things with art, or so as to obtain the most perfect results. The present phenomenal world and the Future that is to be, all have a definite object and purpose in the Plan of Allah, Who knows perfectly what we are, what we do, what we think, and what we need. Who can praise His artistry enough?

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Every one of my followers will be forgiven except those who expose (openly) their wrongdoings. An example of this is that of a man who commits a sin at night which Allah has covered for him, and in the morning, he would say (to people): "I committed such and such sin last night,’ while Allah had kept it a secret. During the night Allah has covered it up but in the morning he tears up the cover provided by Allah Himself.”
[Bukhari Book.08, Chapter 73, Hadith # 95].
Lesson : We learn from this Hadith that commission of a sin due to human frailties on which one is ashamed but does not like to express is something which might hopefully be forgiven by Allah. In fact, its remission after penitence is almost sure. But to commit a sin openly is totally different because, firstly, the heart of such a person is deprived of the fear of Allah. Secondly, he has no respect and regard for Divine injunctions. Thirdly, such a person usually does not repent his sins. Fourthly, he makes a declaration of breach of Divine injunctions which amounts to inviting His wrath and punishment.

Daily Quran And Hadith,

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 74. And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal.
Ayat 75. And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz).
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 74 & 75. And verily thy Lord know the all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record.

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: When it was revealed to The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH), "To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and whether you disclose what is in your own selves or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it,”the Companions of Messenger of Allah (PBUH) felt it hard and severe and they came to Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) and sat down on their knees and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we were assigned some duties which were within our power to perform, such as Salat (prayer), Saum (fasting), Jihad (striving in the Cause of Allah), Sadaqah (charity). Then this (the above mentioned) Verse was revealed to you and it is beyond our power to live up to it.” Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Do you want to say what the people of two Books (Jews and Christians) said before you: ‘We hear and disobey?’ You should rather say: ‘We hear and we obey,we seek forgiveness, our Rubb and unto You is the return.”’ And they said: "We hear and we obey, (we seek) Your forgiveness, our Rubb! And unto You is the return.” When the people recited it and it smoothly flowed on their tongues. [Muslim].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 74. “your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal” We learn from this Hadith that initially every person was answerable for thoughts and doubts even those which crossed his mind; something on which nobody had any control. The Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) were naturally disturbed on this situation. But when they heard and obeyed the orders of the Prophet [SAWW](PBUH).

Daily Quran And Hadith

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 67. And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)?
Ayat 68. "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients."
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 67 and 68. The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,-we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients."

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Between the two Blowing of the Trumpet there will be an interval of forty.” The people said, "O Abu Hurairah! Do you mean forty days?” He said, "I cannot say anything.” They said, "Do you mean forty years?” He said, "I cannot say anything.” They said, "Do you mean forty months?” He said, "I cannot say anything. The Prophet [SAWW](PBUH) added: `Everything of the human body will perish except the last coccyx bone (end part of the spinal cord), and from that bone Allah will reconstruct the whole body. Then Allah will send down water from the sky and people will grow like green vegetables’.”
[Al-Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 457].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 67. “those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)?” 1. When Israfil blows the Trumpet the first time, by Allah’s Leave, all those who are in the heavens and on earth will swoon away, except him whom Allah will. This will be the first Blowing. Then, it will be blown a second time, they will become alive and will emerge from their graves. These Blowing are known as the `Blowing of Fainting and Rising’. As regard the interval between these two Blowing, the narrator of the narration, Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him), could not say anything when he was asked about it; as he himself did not know it. But in other narrations the interval has been mentioned as forty years.
2. The earth eats away the whole body of humans except the bodies of the Prophets. However, only the end part of the spinal cord remains intact. How it remains intact is known to Allah, but from it mankind will be created again.
3. Bodies will rise from the earth as vegetation springs out from the earth after the rainfall.
