Smart bulb for Pakistanis



A smart bulb has been invented by scientists especially for Pakistanis. This bulb remain lit even after the electricity is off. The bulb was designed in New York and it has been considered fit for use in Pakistan.

A chargeable battery is placed in the bulb. The bulb can provide light for continuously 4 hours and then the bulb needs to be recharged again.

The price of bulb has been set at $35. The lifetime of the bulb has been reported as maximum to 25 years. However, battery must be replaced every 3-4 years.

Maryam Nawaz said Lahoris are “Zalim”





Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif, has said that public of Lahore is “Zalim” as they have shown their support to PTI’s rally yesterday.

PTI held a successful rally against the inflation that has affected the masses of Pakistan. Maryam Nawaz is the main person of PML-Nawaz to attract youth towards their party. Maryam also holds the office of Youth Program.

Maryam tweeted that PTI supporters have given votes in elections but they are too “Zalim” that those supporters don’t like to come to the rallies these days.

Manama: Cristiano Ronaldo may accept Islam to marry Miss Bahrain. The former Miss Bahrain has shown hr willingness to marry the top footballer of the world.

Former Miss Bahrain Shaila Sabt showed her consent to marry footballer only if he accepts Islam. It is now thought that Cristiano Ronaldo may convert to Islam soon.

The 24-year-old Sabt, lives in Bahrain and won the beauty competition in 2010. She is the most beautiful lady of Bahrain. As, she is a Muslim, she will marry to the person who will accept Islam.


200 scholarships for Pakistani Students

German government has offered local 200 scholarships for Pakistani Students studying in 10 different Pakistani universities. The scholarships will be offered to the students who are having less resources to continue their studies.

A meeting was held between HEC and German authorities. German Ambassador Cyrill Nunn and Chairperson HEC Pakistan Imtiaz Hussain Gilani signed the HEC-German Needs-Based Scholarship Program for Pakistanis.

There has been a fix quota for females of the ten universities nominated for this scholarship. Germany wants at least 30 per cent of the scholarships should be awarded to female students.

Students of following universities are considered eligible for this scholarship:

Quaid-e-Azam University, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Islamabad, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Government College University Lahore, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Kohat University of Science and Technology, University of Haripur, Frontier Women University Peshawar, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, and Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University Quetta.
