Blackheads Information and Treatment

Blackheads Information and Treatment

Blackheads are small, dark spots (nearly the size of a pinhead) by a small plug in the opening of a follicle. Blackheads are the somewhat different sibling of zits, and like zits, squeezing them may be addictive. A good cleansing routine is one of the perfect ways to reduce blackheads, as it will help wash away excess oil and dead skin particles. Then give face a warm bath by splashing with cold water.

Blackheads required to be softened with steam or hot water or oil and then can drawn out easily with either betonite or with a syringe. Whiteheads are formed the same way as blackheads with the objection that the pore is closed and the oxidation does not occur.

Generally blackheads are the consequence of oily skin and blocked pores. The "black" look of them is not due to dirt, but by the oxidising effect of air on the sebum (oil) in a clogged pore and the melanin pigment from the dead skin cells. It is not clearly inferred why the sebaceous glands begin to become overactive.

The best way to get rid of blackheads is to remove the reason of them - excessive sebum (oil) and dead skin cells. Acne and blackheads are too varied things. Though drinking a lot of water and eating a healthy diet is important, pore-size is usually resoluted by genetics and age. As long as the oil from in the body is in the cell, it is white. It is the contact with the air which makes it turn black.

Blackheads are not a skin problem. They are caused by internal problems, either glandular or due to the wrong oils in food. People who are taking using egg white to remove blackheads as it does not work. To remove Blackheads, apply a daily scrub in the morning prior all of your other skincare treatments, or only use it three to four times a week. Don't use harsh soaps which can irritate the skin or any creams and leaves an oily finish.

A warm compress of water actuated to the area of the blackhead followed by a very, very gentle pressure can help in clearing the clog from the pore.
