Daily Quran And Hadith,

English Translation of Al-Quran
[03].Surah Al-Imran
Ayat 31. Say (O Muhammad

[SAWW](PBUH)to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Ayat 32. Say (O Muhammad

[SAWW](PBUH)): "Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad

)." But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers.
[Tafseer] (Say) O Muhammad

[SAWW](PBUH)!: (If ye love Allah) and His religion, (follow me) follow my Religion; (Allah will love you) He will increase your love (and forgive you your sins) which were committed when you followed Judaism. (Allah is Forgiving) of whoever repents, (Merciful) towards whoever dies in a state of repentance. This verse was revealed about the Jews who claimed they were the children of Allah and His beloved ones. When this verse was revealed ‘Abdullah Ibn Ubayy said: “Muhammad

[SAWW](PBUH) is commanding us to love him as the Christians loved Jesus”, and the Jews said: “Muhammad

[SAWW](PBUH) wants us to take him as a compassionate Lord, just as the Christians took Jesus as a compassionate Lord”. Consequently, Allah revealed about their comments: (Say: Obey Allah) regarding what He has obligated (and the Messenger) in his practices. (But if they turn away) from obeying them, (Lo! Allah loved not the disbelievers) the Jews and the hypocrites.

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Masud Al-Badri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were sitting in the company of Saad bin Ubadah (May Allah be pleased with him), when the Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH) came to us. Bashir bin Saad said: "O Messenger of Allah! Allah has commanded us to supplicate for you, but how should we do that?” The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) kept silent. We were much perturbed over his silence and we wished he did not asked him this question. The Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Say: `O Allah, exalt the mention of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you exalted the family of Ibrahim. And bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed the family of Ibrahim. You are the Praised, the Glorified,’ and the method of greeting (i.e., Salam) is as you know.”
[Muslim Book 04,Chapter 15, Hadith # 803]
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Imran Ayat 31.""If you (really) love Allah then follow me" In this Hadith, the Prophet

(PBUH) has showed us that the manner of offering Salam was the same as the one mentioned in the previous Hadith. "Al” means the wives of the Prophet (PBUH) and those of his relatives who were from Banu Hashim and Banu `Abdul-Muttalib and had embraced Islam. Some scholars are of the opinion that it is general and applies to all his followers. This Hadith also teaches us that if one does not have knowledge of a religious matter, he must seek guidance from the knowledgeable scholars of Islam about it, rather than going by his opinion. Knowledgeable persons (scholars) here means persons who are well-versed in the Qur’an and Hadith and can answer questions in the light of them, and not from the sayings of others or from their own intelligence.

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 66. Nay, they (infidel) have no knowledge of the Hereafter. Nay, they are in doubt about it. Nay, they are blind about it.
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 66. Still less can their knowledge comprehend the Hereafter: Nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty there anent; nay, they are blind thereunto! The Unbelievers are generally materialists, who cannot go beyond the evidence of their physical senses. As to a spiritual vision of the future, their physical senses would only leave them in doubt and uncertainty, while their rejection of the spiritual Light makes them blind altogether to the spiritual world.

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH) said, "The world is the believer’s prison and the infidel’s Jannah".
[Muslim Book 42,Chapter 01, Hadith # 7058]
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 66. “they (infidel) have no knowledge of the Hereafter” As compared with the pleasures and luxuries, which are in store for a true believer in Jannah in the Hereafter, this world is a prison; and against the ceaseless torture that awaits the Kuffar (disbelievers) in Hell, this world is a Jannah for them. It can also mean that the way a Muslim saves himself in life from lusts and desires and leads a pious life with fear of Allah, this world is a prison for him because he is fettered in the chains of rules and regulations, while a Kafir (disbeliever) is free from all kinds of restrictions and is completely given to lusts and desires, and this is how this world is a Jannah for him. The purpose of this Hadith is to induce Muslims for the preparation of Al-akhirah (the Hereafter) and prevent them from unlawful luxuries of this world.

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 88. And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds (on the Day of Resurrection). The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things, verily! He is Well-Acquainted with what you do.
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 88. Thou sees the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away: (such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do. This is so in the present phase of phenomenal things, both literally and figuratively. There seems nothing more firm or fixed or permanent than the "eternal hills": yet when the new order of things comes and the new World is brought into being, they will be as flimsy and insubstantial as clouds. So, in the revelation of things in the spiritual World, persons or things or ideas that seem so great and so firmly established now will pass away like mere fancies and give way to the Reality of Allah. Atqana. to arrange or dispose of things with art, or so as to obtain the most perfect results. The present phenomenal world and the Future that is to be, all have a definite object and purpose in the Plan of Allah, Who knows perfectly what we are, what we do, what we think, and what we need. Who can praise His artistry enough?

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Every one of my followers will be forgiven except those who expose (openly) their wrongdoings. An example of this is that of a man who commits a sin at night which Allah has covered for him, and in the morning, he would say (to people): "I committed such and such sin last night,’ while Allah had kept it a secret. During the night Allah has covered it up but in the morning he tears up the cover provided by Allah Himself.”
[Bukhari Book.08, Chapter 73, Hadith # 95].
Lesson : We learn from this Hadith that commission of a sin due to human frailties on which one is ashamed but does not like to express is something which might hopefully be forgiven by Allah. In fact, its remission after penitence is almost sure. But to commit a sin openly is totally different because, firstly, the heart of such a person is deprived of the fear of Allah. Secondly, he has no respect and regard for Divine injunctions. Thirdly, such a person usually does not repent his sins. Fourthly, he makes a declaration of breach of Divine injunctions which amounts to inviting His wrath and punishment.

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 74. And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal.
Ayat 75. And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz).
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 74 & 75. And verily thy Lord know the all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record.

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: When it was revealed to The Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH), "To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and whether you disclose what is in your own selves or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it,”the Companions of Messenger of Allah (PBUH) felt it hard and severe and they came to Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH) and sat down on their knees and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we were assigned some duties which were within our power to perform, such as Salat (prayer), Saum (fasting), Jihad (striving in the Cause of Allah), Sadaqah (charity). Then this (the above mentioned) Verse was revealed to you and it is beyond our power to live up to it.” Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Do you want to say what the people of two Books (Jews and Christians) said before you: ‘We hear and disobey?’ You should rather say: ‘We hear and we obey,we seek forgiveness, our Rubb and unto You is the return.”’ And they said: "We hear and we obey, (we seek) Your forgiveness, our Rubb! And unto You is the return.” When the people recited it and it smoothly flowed on their tongues. [Muslim].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 74. “your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal” We learn from this Hadith that initially every person was answerable for thoughts and doubts even those which crossed his mind; something on which nobody had any control. The Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) were naturally disturbed on this situation. But when they heard and obeyed the orders of the Prophet [SAWW](PBUH).

Daily Quran And Hadith

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 71. And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?"
Ayat 72. (O Muhammad

SAWW PBUH) Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you.
Ayat 73. "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks."
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 71, 72 & 73 They disbelievers also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" The Unbelievers—or even men of halfhearted faith-may say, "Why worry over distant future events? Take the day as it comes!" But that is a fallacy. Judgment is certain, and it may be that this very hour may be the hour of doom for any given individual. This is the hour of repentance and amendment. For Allah wishes well to all mankind in spite of their ingratitude. But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful.

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Rifaah bin Rafi Az-Zuraqi (May Allah be pleased with him) said: Jibril (Gabriel) came to the Prophet

[SAWW](PBUH) and asked him: "How do you estimate among you those who participated in the battle of Badr?” He

[SAWW] replied, "They were the best of Muslims” (or he may have said something similar to that). Jibril said: "The same is the case with the angels who were at Badr.” [Al-Bukhari Hadith # 3992].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 72. “"Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you” The Hadith highlights the superiority of those Companions, as well those angels, who participated in the battle of Badr against the forces of Kufr. The Qur’an confirms the fact that the angels fought along with Muslims in this historic battle.

English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 67. And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)?
Ayat 68. "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients."
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 67 and 68. The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,-we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients."

Hadith

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah

[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Between the two Blowing of the Trumpet there will be an interval of forty.” The people said, "O Abu Hurairah! Do you mean forty days?” He said, "I cannot say anything.” They said, "Do you mean forty years?” He said, "I cannot say anything.” They said, "Do you mean forty months?” He said, "I cannot say anything. The Prophet

[SAWW](PBUH) added: `Everything of the human body will perish except the last coccyx bone (end part of the spinal cord), and from that bone Allah will reconstruct the whole body. Then Allah will send down water from the sky and people will grow like green vegetables’.”
[Al-Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 457].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 67. “those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)?” 1. When Israfil blows the Trumpet the first time, by Allah’s Leave, all those who are in the heavens and on earth will swoon away, except him whom Allah will. This will be the first Blowing. Then, it will be blown a second time, they will become alive and will emerge from their graves. These Blowing are known as the `Blowing of Fainting and Rising’. As regard the interval between these two Blowing, the narrator of the narration, Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him), could not say anything when he was asked about it; as he himself did not know it. But in other narrations the interval has been mentioned as forty years.
2. The earth eats away the whole body of humans except the bodies of the Prophets. However, only the end part of the spinal cord remains intact. How it remains intact is known to Allah, but from it mankind will be created again.
3. Bodies will rise from the earth as vegetation springs out from the earth after the rainfall.
