When we say foundation, it always refers to the base or the bottom of the process. In makeup process, the foundation is always the initial cosmetic you need to apply on to the face before any other cosmetics. Just like in painting, the base serves as the skeleton before you can proceed on putting on oil paints for the drawing. In using a makeup foundation, it is essential to always put the perfect foundation that will best suit your skin, tone and color. It is also very visible and easy to apply as it comes with oil-based formulas for those who have dry and normal skin and water-based formulas for those who have oily skin. Liquid foundation can match easily any natural face complexions as well as any colors of the skin tone. It may come in different formulas such as yellow-based, orange-based and pink-based whereas the yellow-based is the most popular used by women.
Cream foundation is another type of foundation that most women used. It comes in compacts and sticks. It is also the first choice among makeup artists as it gives a flawless smooth look and helps cover skin imperfections. Likewise, cream foundations are very easy to apply.
Powder foundation gives the effects of powder and foundation in one. This type of foundation provides quick solutions for those who uses from cream to powder foundations. Powder foundations can be applied as powder or a cream that gives a quick dry fresh-face appearance. It is best recommended for those people who have oily skin.
