A combination of two file pictures made on August 6, 2015 shows, on the left, a November 12, 2014 European Space Agency (ESA) handout picture acquired the same day by the ROLIS (Rosetta Lander Imaging System) instrument, a descent and close-up camera on the Philae Lander, of the Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko during Philae´s descent at 14:38:41 UT, from a distance of approximately 3 km from the surface, and, on the right, a January 2, 2013 NASA/SDO (Solar Dynamics Observatory) handout image of the Sun taken at 18:15 UT.

The region is filled with intense winds from hot stars, churning funnels of gas, and energetic star formation, all embedded within an intricate haze of gas and pitch-dark dust.

تاریخ میں پہلی بار کسی دوسرے سیارے سے انسانی آواز زمین تک پہنچ گئی۔ امریکی خلائی مشن کیوریوسٹی نے مریخ سے انسانی آواز میں ریکارڈ کیا گیا پیغام نشر کیا ہے۔ مریخ پر بھیجی گئی خلائی گاڑی کیوریوسٹی نے سرخ سیارے کی تصویروں کے بعد آڈیو پیغام بھی ارسال کیا ہے۔ یہ پیغام ناسا کے ایڈمنسٹریٹر نے ریکارڈ کروایا تھا جس میں ناسا کے اسٹاف کو مشن کی کامیابی پر مبارک باد دی گئی ہے۔ ناسا کے ایک عہدے دار کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ پیغام اس فرد کے لیے بھی ہے جو ممکنہ طور پر کبھی مریخ پر اترے گا اور وہاں سے اپنی آواز میں پیغام زمین پر بھیجے گا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ چاند پر نیل آرم اسٹرانگ کے قدم رکھنے کے بعد کیوریوسٹی کا مریخ پر پہنچنا خلائی تسخیر میں دوسرا اہم قدم ہے۔
