Shahid Afridi Revokes His Contract With African League

Shahid Afridi, famous allrounder and considered a finest player of the shortest form of game has revoked his contract with the african league.

According to the details, Afridi had signed contract to play in african league which will start in january 2014 but now he has revoked it on the basis of personal issues.

While 2 more pakistani players Saeed Ajmal and Sohail Tanver will play the african league.

Misba Ul Haq has already said that continuous absence from homes has given rise to many personal problems of the players.

Squaad For t20 World cup

The selection committee of Pakistan cricket board has sent a list of initial 30 players to be included in the T20 Worldcup to be held in Bangladesh from 16^th March to ICC.

 

According to the sources, the team has been finalized after the approval by Najam Sethi, the chairman of PC and recommendations by the captain Muhammad Hafeez.

Muhammad Hafeez, Afridi, Ahmed Shahzad, Usman Khan, Anwar Ali, Bilawal bhatti, Harid sohail, Saeed Ajmal, Shoaib Malik, Abdul rehman, Junaid Khan, Sohail tanveer, Umer akmal, Umer gull, Razzak, Rahat ali are few among the selected 30 players.

The sources have told that the selection committee is critically watching the performance of every player.

Misbah’s lottery

The current captain of Pakistan cricket team Misbah-ul-Haq has been appointed the captain of Pakistan team till the world cup of 2015.

The chairman of PCB Najam Sethi has supported Misbah declaring that he will remain the captain of team for test matches and one day matches till the next world cup of 2015.

After the disappointed failure against South Africa, senior players recommended changing the captaincy of the team but Cricket board has rejected this recommendation.

According to statement given by Najam Sethi, Mibah is a trustworthy and responsible player and he will remain in the captaincy.
